HERITAGE HOMESTEAD
Captivating country magic for a family getaway
Spacious luxury in the form of a beautiful Georgian-built homestead
Situated in your own private garden, enjoy the secluded charm of the Heritage cottage. In 1995, this homestead was dismantled from its original home in Oatlands on the Midland Highway south of Ross and rebuilt with care and high-quality craftsmanship here in Mole Creek. Large enough for a family with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, there’s plenty of space to relax, whether it’s by the log fire with a book or in the sun by the BBQ and outdoor seating area.
Relax while connecting with nature
Luxury accommodation in the Tasmanian countryside never looked so inviting and comforting. The Heritage Homestead has captivating views of the Cradle Mountain countryside and stays include nourishing breakfast provisions like free range eggs and homemade bread. Perfect for families seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of daily routine, you’re invited to unwind and indulge in the tranquility of the Heritage.
Add a little extra luxury to your stay with wine and a cheeseboard upon arrival
We like to give our guests the ultimate experience in rural luxury. For a small extra fee, you can arrive to a locally sourced boutique wine and cheese platter of your choice. Local vineyard options are crisp Pinot Noir Rosé, refreshing Blanc de Blanc and fruity sparkling cider, just to name a few. Which will you choose?
What our
guests say
“I cannot speak highly enough of our stay in the Heritage Cottage. We stayed three nights with our 9 and 2 year old. The accommodation was clean and homely. Shane and Yuko were fabulous hosts and made us feel so incredibly welcome into their home.”
“We stayed in the heritage cottage and were delighted with the extra touches Yuki and Shane had provided for us. The gardens are a credit to them both and the farm animals would be a kids dream come true. Meet the alpacas, the goats, the sheep, the ducks and chickens, collect the eggs - what fun. ”
“I cannot speak highly enough of our stay in the Heritage Cottage. We stayed three nights with our 9 and 2 year old. The accommodation was clean and homely. Shane and Yuko were fabulous hosts and made us feel so incredibly welcome into their home. My children loved feeding the chickens and ducks and absolutely loved the alpacas and lambs. We really appreciated all the little touches in the cottage - the wood, milk, juice and breakfast provisions were appreciated. The fact that a decorated Christmas tree had been placed in the living space was a fabulous touch which we really appreciated. The gardens that surround the cottage are absolutely stunning, the views amazing and the property well maintained and idyllic.”
